Welcome! We're glad you found us on the World Wide Web. Immanuel Lutheran Church is located in Story City, Iowa, ten miles north of Ames, Iowa, just off I-35. Immanuel celebrated its 100th birthday in 1998.
Established by Norwegian immigrants on July 23,1898, our church has grown to over 1000 baptized members. About 350 worshipers join together each Sunday for praise, fellowship and inspiration.
Immanuel Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We join in worshiping the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all, that He died on the Cross for our sins, and that He will bring all those who believe in Him to eternal life.
