Pastor Stephen Anenson
is a 1978 graduate of Luther Seminary. He served the Lutheran Church
in Heron Lake, MN from 1978 - 1983. He has served Immanuel Lutheran
Church since 1983. His wife, Sandy, is an Associate in Ministry and
serves as Chaplain at Bethany Manor Nursing Home in Story City.

Pastor John Engelstad joined our staff
in September, 2001. He was a former engineer with Iowa Health Systems
in Des Moines who felt the call to ministry. He graduated from Wartburg
Seminary in May, 2001. He and his wife Kim, son Kory and daughter Rachel
are enjoying living in Story City.

Shane Potratz is our Youth Director.
He is from Cedar Falls, Iowa. Shane graduated from Wartburg College
in May, 2000, with a degree in Math and Math Education. He works with
all Youth at Immanuel.

Sheila Schaefer of Ellsworth, Iowa serves as office
secretary. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa,
taught business education for eight years in Hampton, worked in a family
business for six years, and worked at a bank for 8 years before joining
our staff in January, 1999.

Elizabeth Jackson serves as our financial secretary.
She has lived in Story City since 1993 with her husband Mark and children,
Christopher and Elizabeth Joy. She graduated from Luther College. She
has worked as a legal assistant specializing in estates and trusts and
in the banking industry as a trust officer.

Shelly Nibe serves as our custodian,
beginning in 2001. Her husband, Scott, is employed by the city of Story
City in the Water Department. Shelly and Scott have two children, Morgan
and Carson.

Emily Anderson has served as
Immanuel's organist since August 1999. She teaches
piano lessons to over 30 students in the Story City
area.
|
|
Susan Amensen serves as the Senior Choir Director
at Immanuel. She has served as the Immanuel Choir director for over
25 years.
